Service Description

Lymphatic drainage massage, also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with a working lymph vessel. MLD is calming and relaxing to receive and one often feels a sense of well-being after treatment through the pumping and stretching effect on the lymph vessels. It stimulates the contraction of smooth muscles in lymph vessels, helping to move the lymph forward and drain connective tissue. By stimulating microcirculation and lymph vessels, MLD can be successfully employed in conditions, such as lymphedema and certain types of edema. Indirectly it may also affect the immune system. By assisting lymph flow, MLD is thought to bring pathogens quicker to the lymph nodes where they can be neutralized. Preparation: To prepare yourself for lymphatic drainage massage therapy, you should drink a lot of water before and after the massage, avoid eating one hour before treatment, and reduce the intake of salty food, sugar, and alcohol before and after the massage for the best result. 55 minutes: lymphatic face $150 90 minutes: Face & Body $250
